Dessert time at Guylian Cafe!

Guylian Cafe specializes in chocolate sweet treats. The shop at The Rocks has a lovely and classic decoration, comfortable seating and great ambience; it is conveniently located in the restaurant area of The Rocks historic precinct.

The difficult choice comes when selecting between the desserts at display as all of them looks very tempting. It is like a love at first sight to be followed by love at first bite. Desserts can be ordered to eat in or take away.

They have options for all caterers: individual pieces of white to dark chocolates in all imaginable shapes, a selection of individual cakes, and whole cakes for special occasions. They also serve coffee, tea and cold drinks.

The best way to taste more flavours is by sharing. The Foodiespage team choose 3 cakes and some hot drinks:

• the Dark chocolate raspberry cheesecake

• the Macadamia and milk chocolate cake

• the "Enjoy in" which was a hazelnut dacquoise with strawberry mousse

The 3 cakes were delicious and beautifully presented. Our favourite of the night was the Dark chocolate raspberry cheesecake, this dessert had the perfect combination of flavours and texture, we all loved it.

For drinks we had the Coconut hot chocolate which was full of flavour, also a Chai latte, which we would had preferred with more body and flavour.

We definitively recommend the hot or cold chocolates, all served with a little piece of chocolate at the side. Be advised that ordering cake and a chocolate drink might be a little bit to much sweetness... Make sure you ask for a glass of water to drink after your sugar treat!
